Villa Arcadia Beach Resort: Review

White beaches have always been my favorite spot in the world. I love the fresh sea breeze, white, clean beaches and waking up in a peaceful and serene environment. If you love this kind of getaway, Villa Arcadia Beach Resort in Talisayan, Kalamkam, Misamis Oriental is perfect for you.

The resort boasts of its pristine white beach and fresh sea breeze. Moreover, they also offer a nice green landscape. Kids are sure to love the swing and monkey bar they have in the area.

It is such a delight to see my kids having fun in the sand while discovering the many different sea creatures living in the beachfront. It’s their first time to see little crabs, hermit crabs, seashells and etc. I can say that bringing them here was truly an amazing experience for them.

They have a couple of rooms where you can stay, a pool and function areas where you can hold important events. As of writing, some rooms and function halls are undergoing renovation. The room where we stayed is decent enough to stay for a night. It costs 1,395 including breakfast for two. The air conditioning unit worked perfectly. The room has 2 beds, a table, and a bathroom. If you’re going to ask me, I’m not too ecstatic about the rooms. Anyways, it’s not the reason why I’m there.

The pool is free for those who checked in. For those who just want to spend the day bathing, a 100.00 charge is set. Additionally, they also have Wifi in the area. But, who wants a Wifi when you are there to relax? Cottages, a basketball court, a grilling area, and a shower room is also available in the area. Did I forget to mention? They have the most customer-friendly staff. Try and visit the place. Let me know your thoughts, too.

How to get here?

If you have a car, the drive will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. On the other hand, if you are taking the bus, it would take around 2 hours. Not bad, if you really want to relax and just get in touch with nature.

This is all for now. If you want to go explore the mountains, don’t forget to check out Dahilayan Mountain Resort as I am sure you will also love the place.

There’s nothing I can find that’s more decent than this at that budget. Other resorts can go as high up as 8000 per night.

Beautiful beach! I miss the sunny side of the world-Philippines. The sand here is so fine but it’s typically cold so quite hard to enjoy the water.
